Maqolada venger sharqshunosi Hermann Vamberyning “Markaziy Osiyoga sayohat” (1864) asarida Buxoro obrazining badiiy talqini o‘rganiladi. Asar kompozitsiyasida Buxoroga ajratilgan o‘rin miqdoriy aniqlanib, shahar obrazini tashkil etuvchi mavzular va badiiy vositalar (epitet, metafora, antiteza, detal, prolepsis) tahlil qilingan. Natijalar Buxoro obrazining “muqaddas shahar” va “nazorat makoni” qutblari orasidagi ziddiyatga qurilganini ko‘rsatadi.
