PROTECTION OF PROPERTY RIGHTS DURING TERRITORIAL CHANGES IN PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL LAW

This article examines current issues of property rights protection in the context of territorial changes from the perspective of public international law. Special attention is paid to the analysis of international legal mechanisms for protecting various forms of property during territorial changes, including cases of state succession, territorial cessions, and other forms of state territory transformation. Based on the analysis of international practice and doctrinal sources, the problems of ensuring property owners' rights under territorial changes are investigated, and solutions are proposed.
